I’m still finishing up details before the truck goes into the paint booth. Every Series Rover I’ve owned has had some cobbled up piece of metal covering the six cylinder exhaust port, and this truck is no exception…………a rusted up piece squarer of 18 gauge sheet metal. So, I used some left over 6061 alloy, cut the shape using the Beverly Shear, a little english wheel to get the top curve right, hammer & dolly to finish it, mark it, drill it, done. A cover that won’t rot.
