Memorial Day Aluminum Straightening

Here’s how I spent Memorial Day………A Coke Classic and a big old double chocolate chip cookie from the store up the street for energy. Body hammers, dollies, files, sanding blocks, a couple of saw horses, and a banged up roof top. In the end the top came out great………..very smooth, dents are gone, only had some stretching in one spot, I cold worked the whole thing so no heat stress of the alloy…………..oh yah, and just about seven hours of work, but that’s ok, I need the practice because the guys on TV can do this in 23 minutes! 🙂
